Fast-growing access rental specialist Levels Above has selected LGMG electric scissor lifts supplied by Access Platform Sales to continue to expand its fleet.
The company, based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, has invested in four LGMG SS0507E scissor lifts, with a maximum working height of 6.3 metres.
It is the first rental company in the UK and Ireland to take delivery of the new LGMG scissor lifts, which are designed to be particularly effective in constrained space, both indoors or outdoors.
Quick delivery
Levels Above, founded by directors Russell Anderson and Neil Blakemore in 2020 as a powered access rental broker, is now building its own fleet of electric scissor lifts.
It was impressed by the quality and performance of the LGMG SS0507E scissor, the ability of APS to fulfil the order quickly and the excellent after sales service provided.

The LGMG SS series of electric scissor lifts provides platforms with working heights from 5.6 metres – the SS0407E – to 7.5 metres – the SS0607E.
Challenging conditions
The LGMG SS0507E is a light-weight electric scissor with a zero turning radius. Its highly-efficient electric drive system supports longer battery life and excellent gradeability of 25 percent.
The sealed electric motors protect the platform from water and dust, ensuring it will operate reliably and consistently in challenging conditions.
The scissor lift’s platform is 1350mm long and 700mm wide, with a capacity of 230kg. A 600mm extension deck has a 113kg capacity.
As with other LGMG platforms, the SS0507E scissor has a particularly effective and easy-to-use intelligent diagnostic system that allows operatives to more quickly assess and resolve faults, minimising operational downtime.
Complete package
The scissor lift can be supplied with a range of optional functions, including AC power and compressed air to the platform, an anti-collision system, and GPS.
Levels Above is confident its expanding client base, which includes major retailers, manufacturers, construction contractors and facilities maintenance specialists will be impressed by the SS0407E.
