The platform can be supplied with bi-energy diesel or petrol engines with 110v mains electric power, or with a lithium battery power pack.

The Hinowa Lightlift 14.70 IIIS is the successor to the popular GL1470 model, offering improved compactness, stability, and user-friendly features in the Lightlift IIIS series of tracked aerial platforms. Built for versatility, this machine excels in confined spaces thanks to its narrow transport width and variable undercarriage (786–1,142 mm), while the widening system and “IIIS” stabilization provide superior stability on uneven or sloped terrain (up to 9° stabilization angle and 15° travel slope).

- Innovative Undercarriage & Stabilization: Automatic “IIIS” system with widening tracks for enhanced stability, self-leveling basket via opposing cylinders, and double emergency lowering controls (ground and basket). This makes setup fast, safe, and error-free, even for less experienced operators.
- Power & Efficiency: Standard Honda iGX390 petrol engine (11.7 HP) with Autorev technology and automatic RPM control for lower fuel consumption and noise. Optional Hatz 1B30 diesel or 2.2 kW electric motor (230V/110V). Lithium-ion battery version (4.8 kWh) available for zero-emission indoor work.
- Basket & Controls: Spacious composite basket (1,335 × 690 × 1,100 mm) with rear access via retaining bar and ladder, integrated remote control housing, and transport wheels. Simplified multilingual remote control with electro-proportional controls for smooth, simultaneous movements.
- Safety & Smart Technology: Automatic 120–200 kg load sensing with double-channel strain gauge load cells (prevents overloads), lubrication-free fiberglass pins/bushings for low maintenance, and the R.A.H.M. remote assistance system with GPS for diagnostics, software updates, and machine tracking.
