Access Platform Service & Repairs (APSR) is now fully operational and delivering nationwide support for powered access equipment.
Formed through the coming together of APS and its established aftercare service operations, APSR has been created to provide a focused, specialist solution for servicing, maintenance and repair, supporting both rental companies and end users across the UK.
The business operates with a nationwide team of factory-trained engineers and is supported by a 35,000 sq ft engineering facility in Middleton — one of the largest dedicated MEWP repair centres in the country — alongside APS’s established sales and parts division and southern workshop in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, strengthening coverage across the UK.
The move marks the next phase in APS’s strategy to offer a fully integrated solution across equipment sales, parts and aftercare, with APSR providing a dedicated service platform built around uptime, compliance and asset performance.

Andy Bray, Managing Director of APSR said:
“APSR brings together the strength of APS with a dedicated aftercare and engineering operation to provide a higher standard of service and support for the access industry. With increasing focus on safety, uptime, compliance and return on investment, having a specialist national operation allows us to support customers more effectively and consistently across the UK.”
APSR offers a full range of aftercare services, including LOLER thorough examinations, planned servicing, breakdown support, major repairs and refurbishment work. The Middleton facility is equipped to maintain all brands of large truck and chassis mounts and has capacity for large-scale structural repairs and machine refurbishments including boom repairs, slew bearing replacements and life extension programmes.
The business also works closely with APS and its OEM partners, including JLG Industries and Palfinger, ensuring access to technical expertise and parts support across a wide range of equipment. APSR was appointed as the official UK service partner in April 2026 for JLG, Hinowa, PowerTower, AUSA Plant Machinery, and Palfinger Aerial Work Platforms. APS also remains the exclusive distributor of Hinowa machines in the UK, maintaining it’s long-standing partnership and market position.
APSR is now actively supporting customers nationwide. For Aerial Work Platform support and services from APSR, contact: 0161 510 5001 or support@apsr.co.uk
