Access Platform Sales (APS), the authorised, exclusive UK distributor for PALFINGER Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), is celebrating the success of the PALFINGER PT 25 TJ, which has been named “Product of the Year – Vehicle/Trailer Mounted” at the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) 2026.
The award recognises PALFINGER’s commitment to developing innovative aerial work platforms that combine outstanding performance, operational efficiency and practical solutions designed around customer needs. For APS, the accolade further reinforces the strength of the PALFINGER range and its continued commitment to bringing high-quality, technologically advanced access solutions to the UK market.
A new benchmark for performance at height
Part of PALFINGER’s new TEC range, the PT 25 TJ is the manufacturer’s most powerful aerial work platform in the 3.5-tonne class. Designed to deliver impressive reach and performance while maintaining stability and operational efficiency, it represents a significant development in the capabilities available to operators.
The PT 25 TJ offers a working height of 25 metres, a maximum horizontal outreach of 19 metres and a basket capacity of 300kg. Improved ergonomics, enhanced basket stability and precise, intuitive controls have been designed to make demanding work at height easier and more efficient.
The platform also benefits from a modular component architecture designed to simplify maintenance and help reduce downtime, supporting greater operational efficiency for owners and fleet operators.
In addition, an optional battery pack enables operation with the vehicle engine switched off, helping to reduce emissions and noise on site. Across the TEC range, hybrid and fully electric configurations support customers seeking more flexible and environmentally conscious working solutions.
Recognition for innovation and customer-focused design
For APS, the IAPA award is an important endorsement of PALFINGER’s continued investment in aerial work platform technology and the benefits this brings to customers across the UK.
Andy Bray, Managing Director of Access Platform Sales, said:
“Winning an IAPA Award is fantastic recognition for PALFINGER and a real endorsement of the innovation behind its new TEC range. As the exclusive UK distributor for PALFINGER Aerial Work Platforms, we’re proud to bring products like the PT 25 TJ to the UK market.
“The combination of impressive working height and outreach, excellent basket stability and a strong focus on efficiency makes this a compelling platform for customers who need performance and versatility from their equipment. With PALFINGER CONNECTED also supporting smarter fleet management and maintenance planning, operators have further opportunities to improve productivity and maximise equipment uptime. The TEC range represents an exciting step forward for PALFINGER, and we look forward to helping more UK customers benefit from these latest developments.”
Alexander Susanek, COO of PALFINGER, added:
“Winning the IAPA Award with the PT 25 TJ is a strong recognition of the direction we have taken with our new TEC range. We have listened closely to our customers and translated their requirements into a solution that combines performance, stability, efficiency and ease of operation. This award confirms our ambition to further strengthen aerial work platforms as a core pillar of PALFINGER and deliver solutions that create real added value for our customers.”
Introducing the next generation of PALFINGER AWP
The TEC range marks the next generation of PALFINGER aerial work platforms in the 3.5-tonne class, with models covering working heights from 19 to 28 metres.
Developed with a focus on increased reach, improved basket stability, higher basket loads, reduced weight and greater flexibility in chassis selection, the range has been designed to meet the evolving needs of access platform operators and fleet owners.
The range also incorporates PALFINGER CONNECTED functionality, providing access to machine data to support remote diagnostics, fleet management and maintenance planning. By helping operators monitor equipment performance, plan maintenance more effectively and minimise unplanned downtime, PALFINGER CONNECTED can contribute to improved productivity and greater operational efficiency.
With series production now underway and customers already operating the new TEC platforms, the IAPA award represents an important milestone in the continued development of PALFINGER’s aerial work platform portfolio.
As PALFINGER’s authorised, exclusive UK distributor, APS will continue to support customers in accessing the latest developments in the range, backed by its knowledge of the UK access platform market and its relationship with the manufacturer.
