Chris Miller, owner of 1st Choice Cleaning and Property Maintenance, says investing in a Hinowa spider lift is helping his teams work more productively and save money, making his business more profitable.
He describes his Hinowa Lightlift 20.10 Performance IIIS as a “phenomenal machine” that is “making his operation faster and more efficient than it has ever been”.
He bought the spider lift from Access Platform Sales, the UK and Ireland distributor for Hinowa products, as part of a step-change strategy for his business in Plymouth, Devon.

Seven months on, he is excited by the impact it is already having, which includes having to spend less on scaffolding, and by what the tracked spider lift can deliver in the months and years ahead.
Chris Miller said: “Our Hinowa cherry picker is amazing. It’s a very special piece of kit. It’s allowing us to do so much more, much more quickly and with less cost, for example not having to use scaffolding.

“Paying for scaffolding and hiring in spider lifts has been costing us thousands of pounds a year, so I thought long and hard about investing in a spider lift.

Impressive performance
The Hinowa Lightlift 20.10 is one of the most popular spider lifts in the Performance IIIS range, which offers platforms with working heights from 13m to 40m.
It has a maximum safe working height of 20.1m, an impressive outreach of 9.7m, and is just 790mm wide in tracking mode, so can be moved through garden gates and along narrow paths.
APS supplied 1st Choice Cleaning and Property Maintenance with a rugged lightweight 3.5t trailer, allowing its teams to tow the Hinowa Lightlift 20.10 to jobs with a 4x4 car or van using a standard car licence.
