Access Platform Sales has been appointed by outrigger pad manufacturer Nolim as its UK authorised distributor.

The partnership will allow Nolim to significantly extend its reach in the UK market at a time when it is also achieving sharply increasing sales across other territories.

APS, the UK’s largest independent access platform sales specialist, will supply many of Nolim’s most popular outrigger pads from stock and deliver other products within three to five working days.

TÜV tested

Nolim, based in Tilburg, the Netherlands, is known across Europe for the high quality of its crane and MEWP outrigger pads. It also supplies road mats, outrigger shoes, ramps and stowage boxes.

APS Director Kevin Shadbolt said: “We’re very much looking forward to growing Nolim’s market share in the UK. It has an excellent range of products, most of which are TÜV tested.

“All Nolim products are manufactured to an exceptionally high standard, and they clearly look precision-made. This adds to the confidence of equipment operators and service clients alike.”

Nolim Chief Executive Rogiér de Laat said: “APS has an unrivalled record of providing customers with high quality, consistent service which is why it is the perfect sales partner for Nolim.

“Our outrigger pad sales rose by 15% in 2022. We have been selling into the UK market for eight years. Now, with APS behind us, I am confident many more customers will get to use our products.”

Vertikal Days

APS will feature a range of Nolim outrigger pads and other products on its stand at Vertikal Days on the 10th and 11th of May 2023, at East of England Showground, Peterborough. Rogiér de Laat will also attend the event.

All Nolim outrigger pads are manufactured in Europe from high molecular polyethylene (HMPE) supplied as offcuts by other manufacturers, which guarantees the product consistency and durability.

The strong and light-weight plastic does not absorb moisture and will not break or splinter. It also withstands diesel oil and most chemicals.

In 30 years of service, Nolim has never received a report of one of its outrigger pads breaking. The pads are also highly sustainable, not least due to their long-lasting service.

In 2021, Nolim marked its continued growth by moving to a new base which has twice as much space for manufacturing and storage as its previous premises.
