APS Launches New Website as it Marks 30th Anniversary

Access Platform Sales (APS) has launched a new website, as it celebrates its 30th anniversary.

The new site, www.accessplatforms.co.uk, provides a strong focus on the two core brands that APS represents – Genie and Hinowa. It also includes up-to-date inventory of the company’s other brands, including Aldercote, MEC, Niftylift, Socage, Wienold Lifte, and Youngman BoSS.

Steve Couling, Managing Director of IAPS Group, which owns APS, said: “The new website is even more user-friendly and gives our customers real-time visibility on our inventory. In particular, they can download an up-to-date list of pre-owned and ex-demo platforms from our Approved Used brand, including pricing.”

The new APS website features a equipment selector to help those new to powered access choose the right machine for their application. It also includes information and advice on additional products and services such as outrigger pads, replacement parts, financing your equipment, and training. In addition, there are dedicated sections for the popular Hinowa tracked mini-dumpers and push-around material lifts from both Genie and Wienold.

APS was founded in 1987 in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire and it still retains premises in nearby Upton. It became part of the IAPS Group in 2013, when APS merged with Telford-based replacement parts specialist, IPS, to create the UK’s largest independent full-service powered access distributor.

It offers a complete range of new and Approved Used access equipment, ranging from push-around access platforms to personnel lifts, atrium lifts, tracked booms & spiders, trailer-mounts, self-propelled booms, electric scissor lifts, diesel scissor lifts, and vehicle-mounted booms.

“The company has gone from strength to strength over the past 30 years,” added Steve. “We are proof that the best way to generate sustainable growth is by building lasting relationships with your customers. This new website will better serve our clients while also helping us to develop new business.”
