The new lift, type 2750 RBDJ, has a max. working height of 27.5 m with a 200 kg basket load. A monster outreach of up to 15.5 m and a zero tail swing articulating riser give an exceptional 10.5 m up and over free clearance. The long moveable jib provides final adjustment. The transit length is down to 7.5 m. Standard width is 1.5 m but can be reduced to 1.1 m.
The manual levelling of the stabilizers assures safe setup in the most difficult situations the first time - every time. Deployment is actually possible on uneven levels up to 40%, perfect for hilly grounds, steps or landings where good footing is needed.
Gradeability is 35%, equivalent to 19.3°. Combined with the strong, non-skid crawler belts the platform is indeed cross country access. The all-terrain features are not only for park and woodland areas, but also for working in town centres when it is necessary to overcome kerbs or other obstacles.
The crawler chassis provides great strength but is also dispersing the weight widely. This is important when operating on more sensitive surfaces such as quarry tiles, flagged foot paths, wooden floorings, or if the platform is craned into storey buildings where high reach is required but low weight necessary.
Deliveries start late spring 2009.
